Last Night 400 000 South Africans slept in a home built by Motheo.

On your way to work or school this morning, chances are that you could have gone through a station built and/or refurbished by Motheo. You may even have travelled by train – on railway lines, built with advanced precast technologies – built by Motheo. All of this to get to get to offices and/or schools built by Motheo.

We estimate that over 10 000 students, will, today, be sitting in classrooms built by Motheo.

Today you may find yourself in one of ten MTN Service Centres that Motheo has built/refurbished around the country, or, if, in the unlikely event, your car was stolen in Johannesburg you may find yourself in the vast Aeroton Vehicle Safeguarding Unit which was designed, financed and built by Motheo.

If you were to fall ill you could end up in operating theatres built by Motheo, and there’s a good chance that a member of the medical team attending to you lives in accommodation built by Motheo.

The solid waste you generate could be processed in a Solid Waste Depo. – built by Motheo.

And, at the end of your days you could well end up in a mortuary – built by Motheo.

We tell the story to indicate that Motheo is alot more than ‘just’ housing. We touch lives in all areas. In the past six months we have established a fully fledged Civils Company. They have managed to get off to a fast start with a current order book of around R50m.

The name Motheo means 'to build' – Motheo is building our nation – not only through bricks and mortar – not only by putting roofs on hundreds of thousands of heads, or by giving doctors safe spaces to operate, but by raising the South African flag high.
