Mathukana Mokoka - Trustee
Ms Mathukana Mokoka is a qualified Chartered Accountant, who completed her articles with Arthur Andesen, with over 10 years of post-articles experience. She obtained her B.Com (Hons) from the University of Natal and her Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the University of Cape Town. She holds various non-executive directorships, at National Lotteries Board, Autopax Passenger Services (SOC) Ltd, Shindler Lifts (Pty) Ltd and Intersite (SOC) Ltd, amongst others.

She has extensive experience in strategic & financial management, corporate finance and the deal making environment. Her working career includes, amongst others, employment by one of the largest SA bank where she was employed as a dealmaker, providing deal sourcing, financial structuring, negotiation and execution of leveraged financed type transactions in the Business Banking area of the Bank.

With a commitment to and an interest in education, Mathukana is a trustee of Dr Thandi Ndlovu’s Foundation and also a co-founding member of the affordable private schools, Mbali YeNkululeko, to open in the near future. Mathukana is a member of various professional bodies, including the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Directors.
